About Us

Who We Are

We are Hunter and Jessica Vick, owners of Land Revival, LLC. We have three children that we are raising on our family farm.
Land Revival began with the focus to help restore Blackland Prairie, along with helping landowners meet their conservation and land needs.
We believe that we have been called to be stewards of the land before us and to revive and restore the land given to us. Therefore, Land Revival takes pride in not just cutting and mulching, but also knowing the land needs through gained experience and working with wildlife professionals.

Hunter grew up on his family’s cattle farm in south Alabama. As a graduate of the University of West Alabama, he started his adult life with a career in nursing. However, God called him back to his agriculture roots in 2021 when a specialized need for prairie restoration arose. Since then, Hunter has worked with many landowners and government wildlife agencies all over Alabama and parts of Mississippi to meet their conservation and land needs.

Hunter is prescribed burn certified in the state of Alabama.

Jessica’s childhood started in south Mississippi then moved her to central Alabama. She graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a BA in English. With her love of the written language and being raised by a wildlife professional, Jessica spends her days meeting the office and additional needs of Land Revival and tending to their farm. Jessica uses her writing skills to further knowledge of Land Revival’s mission and work, along with sharing knowledge of agriculture and conservation to the public.
