Black Belt Prairie Restoration
Black Belt Prairie restoration isn’t your typical land management services. It requires knowledge of the soil and plants, along with awareness that the wrong practices can cause irrevocable damage.
This is by far the most unique and misunderstood land management service that we offer. We built these practices under the guidance of wildlife biologists who have spent decades restoring the prairie area. Backed by science, stewardship, and the desire for future generations to have a Black Belt Prairie, Land Revival’s proven methods have helped restore hundreds of acres back to prairie.

This is what can happen to prairie area land when the right practices are NOT used.

Eastern Red Cedar Logging
As part of our Black Belt Prairie restoration services, Land Revival offers speciality logging of the Eastern Red Cedars that must be removed from restoration sites. We started this service to put a use to the cedars that were being removed while using the sale of logs as a way to help landowners with the cost of restoration.
Our methods of harvesting Eastern Red Cedar are done with a restoration-first mindset. Therefore, every step in our process is done to promote the restoration of the Black Belt Prairie on our harvesting sites. Lumber production is not the ultimate goal with this service. Restoration is. However, our logging supports other businesses, promotes prairie restoration, and can be a way for landowners to save a little money on the services that they need.
Whether you’re looking to have cedars removed from your property or you’re looking to purchase cedar lumber, contact us to talk about your cedar needs.
